The only doubles series I played for the first few years was Tuesday Twos, where tradition dictates splitting the ace pot 50/50 with ones partner. I was stunned when I attended a few other doubles events a couple years ago and learned that this isn't done everywhere. In fact, it may be an exception, not the rule.

When I started running Tuesday Twos earlier this year, I made this rule mandatory. This seems to have been pretty well received among the TT regulars.

I'd love to hear other opinions on this. How is it done at your dubs? Split or no? Why/why not?

I let each team agree on whatever they want.

No reason to mandate it.

I think its good that it gets split at TT, this separates TT doubles from most others! Its a true demonstration of camaraderie, team work, and sportsmanship. It puts others and 'the game' above oneself.
