What is this hoping stuff, if you are going to be a good disc golfer you need to know the rules of the ratings. If you can no longer see the temporary ratings on the event page then it made it in. For some of you that is a good thing for others well there are plenty of other opportunities to shoot well this summer.

Looks like the ratings for BSF got in time. Thanks for being such a great TD, Flash. Thanks a lot.
I was hoping to stay above 900 for at least a couple more months.

Hey thanks Mike that is awesome you ROCK!! I figured they made it, but was just not quite sure because they disappeared after the date it said on the PDGA website the TD reports needed to be it. I am for sure getting a crash course in all things PDGA this year with TDing my first event. I feel like I have learned a lot so far, but still for sure have lots left to learn. I appreciate all the support and guidance that I have received from all of the experienced members of our awesome disc golf community. :yay:

With the BSF rating making it in I should finally be the highest rated player in my household! Woo hoo! The last update left me tied with my son which is nice but not as nice as sole bragging rights. It looks like I have accomplished my 2010 goal.........now what?

Hopefully the tournament that I did not play in but somehow got onto my ratings will be taken off during this update. An 875 or whatever it is, sure is a bummer to have on there.

I should finally break 940 which is a miracle since I haven't been playing very solid golf lately...I guess playing once a week at league, at the same course over and over doesn't make the game much better.

Thanks Mike! I for one really appreciate the BSF ratings making it in on time...giving me my first PDGA rated rounds. You guys ran a fantastic tournament!

That is funny, some guy with the same name played an event and you got the rated rounds on your tally. Wonder how the PDGA resolved it down to you. One heck of a tournament with all 14 players battling it out in 6 divisions

Your welcome, we do what we can. Just remember the event is the work of many many people not just Jeff and I!

Moved to 944...not bad for a once a week golfer playing league at the same course, over and over...

What's up with the Beaver State Fling Am ratings?
Rounds 1 and 3 should not be rated the same for either pool let alone both.
For MA1's
42 shot worse in the rain on Sunday
24 shot better
7 the same

All you have to do is contact the PDGA and let them know of the mistake and it will be fixed. Not very difficult to do.

Same thing happened at the Memorial, the first round was a disaster, weather wise with 35 mph winds, then the 3rd round was super easy with very little wind and both got the same rating calculations. I did ask "mr know it all" from the PDGA and he said something like the average score or standard deviation was not much different between the rounds so they kept the round ratings the same. Said it had to be like 2 or 3 strokes different before getting a different calculation for ratings and it was just shy of 2 if I'm correct. I fought the good fight trying to get a different calculation but in the end it made enough sense... ;) The rain during the 3rd round was steady but it wasn't enough to really change the outcome overall much...

Thanks for the info Snap.
I brought it up on the principal of the system.
Actual numbers: MA1 avg east course Saturday (sunshine) 68.95, Sunday (rain) 70.25. Surprisingly the other pool was much closer Saturday (sunshine) 76.68, Sunday (rain) 77.04
Only players who completed all rounds used in calculations.
On average I'll bet players will play either course closer to 2 strokes worse in steady rain versus sunshine. My two cents

Up 15 to equal my PB from 3 years ago.
Fewer rounds and most at Milo helped.

Only down 1 point, not bad considering my lack of stellar play since the last update. Now have 94 rounds in my rating, the most I've ever had, and maybe will ever have.
I reloaded the results for the Oregon Pride and they went up a few points for each round after everyone's new ratings.
