I don't think I'll be playing Leverich any time soon...

Well well well... today was the WDDGA tournament at Leverich and wow, after a full day, I was surprised at the quality of people that exist in this area and very disappointed. First early in the morning my 4 year old is hukking his discs around hole 9 and then after a few mintues tells us he can't find one of his discs so we have 4-5 people looking all over the place, in the water and any other direction he could have tossed it, no avail... shet... then during the 2nd round at hole 6 or 7, I forget my huklab huksit at the tee and remember it a few minutes later and run back only to see it is gone. The park is pretty busy and I run to a few other tee boxes to check out groups if someone could have taken it, we ask a few other groups and omg, I wasn't gone for more than a few minutes and only a few hundred feet away and someone thinks they own a new chair? WTF.... Then when we are almost done with the round, my fiance says while she was watching the kids at the playground, someone ripped off one of the girls scooters off the table that she was sitting at while watching the kids. Then one of the guys in the tournament who knows my son well found my son's disc on the other side of the park! This is by far the shadiest course I have been to with people stealing faster than you can finish a hole... hopefully the Leverich crew can find the huksit cuz the thing stands out with all the stickers on it, but I am just really disppointed and wanted to share with you guys so we can look out for eachother better at all the courses so we don't have to go through such a hectic day again soon. Oh yeah, the golf was good...

i'd say you got off easy, at least they didn't take your 4 year old.

I'm sorry that the experience turned out so poorly, I'm quite surprised to hear of that sort of activity at Leverich. I've been playing there frequently in prop for the Bad Monkey and aside from a few fairly courteous transient individuals I'd never seen any sort of criminal or otherwise suspicious behavior. Hopefully something like this won't become a recurring issue at the park in the future.

ha! that's leverich alright. other than league or tourney days we disc golfers are well outnumbered by the trashy, one disc carrying, ettiquette lacking assholes. nice course though. still better than throwing rockwood and vance with the bums and gang bangers.
