I have had several inquiries wondering who in the area teaches DG, or what is the best option for folks. Join Stumptown? Please advice.
Thanks, Bob

There are plenty of people that can teach disc golf. Jerry Miller does quite a bit of mentoring and teaching. Most pros are happy to teach. Keep asking around who would be interested in teaching a specific group of people and someone will step up.

Nate offers lessons, as do I. Coates is a good teacher too. Any of the pros would be more than willing to teach if it were to fit into their schedule. I teach karate for a living and have 8 years of experience doing that, so I feel very qualified for disc golf instruction. Nate now also teaches for OSU and is a very experienced disc golf teacher.

I can vouch for Nate as I took a lesson from him on Friday before the Eugene Celebration and won it that weekend, so he did have some good feedback. Now hopefully I'll pick up some long bomb tips from Dion tomorrow at Milo?

I completely agree with Snap on this one. I feel my game is where it is at because of the sessions I have has with Nate.

I'll throw my hat in the ring here as well. I have been looking for a chance to teach anyone willing to learn. Because of my school teaching schedule and the summer quickly approaching, my schedule for private lessons should be pretty flexible. I'm also in the Portland area which might be more convenient for some. PM if you want to set something up.
