I just got a disc from my friend Mike and he was "the kid" a few years back so it says so on the disc. It is funny to me to still here him called "kid" from many people that have been around a bit.
This got me thinking about nicknames. I like to call crabtree "lobsterbush". I was given the title "the long arm of the waugh" by a few old school riverside locals.
What are some of your favorite nicknames?

As far as I know there are at least two more "the kid"s in Oregon (James Moore and Andrew Rich)... Buck is a good one... we call Colin "Chugs" and Chadler "Mega Chugs", no idea why... Dion is "the whip" (one year we made up a voice for the evil character in his mind that tells him to throw 360s and called it the whip... think high pitched evil genius)...

I was recently playing with a guy that would, before some putts, violently take his back placed foot and scratch/push rocks, twigs and dirt out of the way. I started calling him "Cat Box" ... you know, how the cats do that do get a clearing to do their business. In fact, I give you all that nickname for anybody who does that a lot before putting.

I always assumed that one day on a hole a throw got away from you and you didn't see where it went. When you asked someone on the card they said, "It's over the hill, Bob.":yay:

Yes?
several years ago i use to putt with only ce spiders and got pretty good at it. Well, jub or guy would always ask me "are you putting with a real putter yet" everytime he saw me. So eventually i started putting with a 3x jk pro aviar-x but still approach with the ce spider almost every time i got within 150' from the basket and several players would say, "well spider-dan is going to pull out his spider and lay it up next to the basket just like every other time." they would also say it was the most boring disc in my bag cause it did the exact same thing every time. Hmmmm i was a better putter back then......at least i think i was.
Trozzle!!!
June 4th, 2010, 08:02 PM
my name on here is Trozzle, and its my disc nick name. Troy is my real name. George Adams started calling me that years ago. I think its a play on my real name, using the way Snoop Dogg talks. For shizzle my nizzle.

T -23 (t minus 23) When this guy gets ready to putt, you can literally count down from 23 before he putts most of the time, this is the most common number we came up with.

One of my favorite nicknames was christened while playing poker at the Aloha Sushi Classic... A friend pushes all-in on the second hand, gets called and loses it all... and that is how he became known as David "Second" Hanley.
