Pro Worlds 2011 **Monterey Bay and Santa Cruz, California**

just got word from the club down there in monterey via Cloud Pemble that the monterey and santa cruz area has officially been voted to host Pro Worlds in 2011!! This means that all of us left coasters will finally get a chance to play in a world championship that's less than 40 hours away!!! :rockon::rockon:

Ryan Ranch
Pinto Lake
De LaVeaga
The Oaks Course
and one of the San Jose courses.

not yet on the list but the info says that they have already voted during this last spring summit (may 13th and 14th).

cloud, sam and i just did the nor cal trip a couple of months ago. the oaks is an amazing/beautiful course as is ryan ranch. and we all know about de la. i've heard great things about pinto lake which is substantially newer (like ryan ranch) but we didn't get a chance to play it. here are a few pics we took.

Ryan Ranch is a great course. I'm sure that the Jellies will have the course in tip-top shape. I've played a few of the different layouts they offer and it is definitely a championship caliber venue. Maybe its time to go Pro and get an invite to the 2011 Pro Worlds...

As a matter of fact, I was so excited by the prospect of 2011 Worlds in Nor Cal, I eschewed my normal Jedi Ninja subliminal persuasion techniques and just blurted it out there. It helps that we both love Northern California, the Redwoods, the Ocean, etc.
