What's a good day to start a weekly event?

Thursday and Friday have the least amount of other weekly events in the area to get the best turnout, and I'm starting a new weekly series so what do you think is the best day for a weekly event?

If you are talking about dubs at Arlington, I vote for Thursday. Fridays are tough if you have a significant other or others...

I am a little bias...my Dabney Dubs is on Thursday and we get a lot of players. I believe it is also the last day of practice/ tourney play before the weekend events. If you have them on Friday you are missing the players that are going to travel on Friday evening to the weekend events.

Yeah that's why my first thought was Friday as nothing else is going on in the area and I don't want to make people have to choose which event they go too; I used to play 4 to 6 doubles events every week. Arlington is a long ways from Lakewood but still.

EDIT: There's also Thursday doubles at Mossy Roc which would kill the turnout of Bellingham players that have always been supportive of me and the Arlington and Lake Stevens courses and players.

EXCUSE ME but what does this have to do with my thread? Take it somewhere else, make your own thread, whatever just please don't hijack mine. And by the way Robdillpdx, click on the link on the site that says "Calender" it will tell you all the events happening every week so you can figure out which courses are going to be having doubles or not.

Based on the poll it sounds like Thursday is a better day; I'm also thinking of Tuesday nights as Terrace Creek is the only other weekly in the area running.
