:jumpspin:I was just wondering if anyone knew the owner of the private Mosier, Or course? I drive by often and would love to play and also had a offer for the owner. We are looking to rent some baskets if it would be possible.
If anyone on here has any word on borrowing some baskets let me know. We will rent or what ever. Than:jumpspin:ks!

hey brodys - The house on the hill amongst the orchards with a small pond in front?
I have heard (2nd hand) that it is owned by a Michael White. It is often rented out, don't know whether this is a summer seasonal rental or more long term. Michael White was a pdga-registered 1000 rated thrower listed as from Chicago, also listed as inactive (last time I looked years ago). I have no idea how to reach him but here's the latest I've heard on access to his course:
He had given a select few individuals from the area permission to come on up and play, but this was at least 3 years ago. Somewhat more recently I heard that the current tenants were not "cool" and didn't want strangers around. At least two of the holes threaten the house, one of them requiring throwing over the house.
Haven't heard anything lately...

Thanks for the update! I want to rent that house. If you are not busy Saturday we are having a tournament at Mt. Adams Lodge! I am sure you have heard, however thought I would put it out there since you are from the Hood as well.

The owner is not Mike Smith, his name is Mike Glass. He is a good friend of mine and he is a former Ultimate player form the early 80's. He played with the Chicago team, "Windy City". Probably one of the best players I have ever played with and against. He was absolutely unstoppable on offense.
He bought the place in the early 80's because he loves to windsurf. He spends Summers at the house and Winters in Chicago. He used to rent it out in the winter, I am not sure if he still does.
He is one of the most generous people I have ever met. Unfortunately I am not comfortable passing on his contact information. I suggest going to the house and leaving a note or going to one his neighbors. They could probably get your message to him. Feel free to use my name.

Thank you so much for the heads up. We were thinking about stopping by and giving him a flier for our up and coming tournament @ Mt. Adams Lodge. Hope you are having a great day and thanks a ton for the input. Its great to hear we have a ultimate legend in the Gorge.

FACT! Mr Glass is an old teammate of mine and absolutely the best thrower I've ever played with. The dude was pulling the length of the field into a 30mph headwind at nationals with a lid and anchored our O to the tune of tow nationals and one world championship.
I'll cut and paste some of this thread and pass it over to him.
