What is the LAST thing you want to forget (other than discs) on a disc golf tournament camping trip?

warm sleeping bags and pillows, nothing sucks worse than a lousy night's sleep shivering all over the place... I always bring a blanket and a sleeping bag, minimum...

coffee fixins' and extra propane for the coleman stove... back up air mattress (i'm a prima donna... do not sleep on anything less than a queen sized air bed... no reason to not always have a cozy bed no matter where you be)... headlamp...

I would say some type of camping chair or at the least a disc golf stool.

I would also say almost anything by the Oskar Blues company. Dales Pale or TenFidy are my best camping beers. Also, anything to cure hangovers if I happen to get a little to crazy on the drunken side bets.

Camping stool, TOILET PAPER!!! Excedrin Migraine and my hammock.

I am a little late to this thread, great suggestions so far, I further suggest a glow disc, flash light, firewood, more beer than you'd expect, and the following:

A big tarp and some rope and bungie cords. You can easily make a dry shelter. Tie rope between two big trees as high as you can, stand on top of vehicle if necessary, drape tarp over rope, tighten rope with bungies thru eyelets attached to whatever you can (additional trees, vehicle, tent poles, etc). The bigger the tarp the bigger your makeshift dry area. Similar to an 'A' frame type set up. This system also works good on a smaller scale attached to the back of an SUV for day tourneys.

Good luck to all! Stay dry my friends!

Hope this is helpful too all PNW golfers & campers!

I remember on year when I was little camping at the Coast during spring break and it rained every day. Tarps are NW car camping essential (as well as a near by Laundromat). The more the better we started with 2 and by the end of the trip we had about 6 or 7. The smallest size tarp I would recommend is 8’ by 8’ or buy yourself one of the “ez-up” type shelters they are great and worth every penny.

Unless you are naked right now you should be fine for a day or five. One would think that clothes were a no brainer but then...
