I have some vacation time coming in May and July and wana play on some new turf. Hornings sounds sweet as does ferragut. I'm an advanced player and would like to have some sweet courses to "vacate to". I don't have any local contacts so mabe somebody could help a golfer out. I do have camping equiptment but hotels are nice as well.
My local "home" course is white river, auburn, wa.

I once had a week off. Here's where I went, (from Portland) not in this order:
Dexter
Oakway GC
Adair Park
Cascades Gateway
McIver
Pier Park
Trojan
Lucky Mud
Steilly
Seatac
Lakewood
IT was awesome, though if I had it to again, I must just stay for a week at Whistler's Bend....
and Horning's, Cottage Grove, Jerry Miller, Bryant, Skyline, Sorosis, Hyzer Pines, Yauger, GHH, Waterloo, Tadmore, Dabney, Timber, Fairgrounds, Dalaiwood, NAD, Cle Elum, White River, Riverside, and more, like Terrace, N Bonneville, Hagg, Lake Stevens, Willamette Pass, Bachelor, Skibowl, Selmac, Tom Pearce, Dakota, Shale City, Bear Cr, etc!

Check www.discgolfcoursereview.com for great courses, people give reviews and ratings on each course and you can pick the courses that look the best for you.

dgcoursereview is also great for planning trips because of its fantastic map browser feature that allows you to click anywhere on google maps and show a visual map of every course within, I believe, 50 miles.
