Ashland/Cougar course?

The course locator shows a course called "cougar" in Ashland Oregon. Anyone with directions? Thanks.

There used to be a course outside of Ashland (Shale City), they used to call it Grizzly Peak or something, but that was removed and relocated to Medford. They're going to clear cut Grizzly.

Actually Cougar ridge, Shale city and Grizzly peak are three different awesome tone courses. They are in the same general area that you can get to either by ashland or highway 140 in white city. These courses are beautiful and challenging. If cougar ridge had baskets it would rival Whistlers for the best DGC in Southern Oregon. The veiws are incredible, not to mention its 28 holes. I will try to put some directions up here after work. I do know that you cant get to cougar this time of year though, there is a gate that is locked until June i think.

Rival Whistlers?? NO (you know better, Jesse =) ). Beautiful course, worth the trip repeatedly? YES. It is a bummer that they have chosen to lock the gates this summer . . . it really is. Cougar Ridge is really a treat! :trophy:
