View Full Version : Any people or courses (likely Whatcom County area) missing a Discatcher Sport?

I recently acquired a used Innova Discatcher sport from a private party in Whatcom County, and I just wanted to make sure it was not stolen. I don't believe it was installed, as it had the bottom circular stand attached to it for portable use. If it was stolen, I can only presume it was from Mossy Roc, as that is the only local course I know of that has mismatched baskets, or any discatcher sports for that matter. I have not had the opportunity to play NSRA Sedro or Twin Rivers yet, so I don't know if they have discatcher sports. It has some unique damage, which the owner would likely be able to identify.
If anyone on this forum knows how to contact the person in charge of or connected to Mossy Roc peeps, I would appreciate if you could forward the contents of this post to them (if possible also PM me with their email or username so I can offer to help out at any potential upcoming work parties and use of the target for events).
Thanks, now to see about some repairs.

Twin Rivers is all Mach Fives, and they are all intact.
Closest installed Discatchers I am aware of would be the ones at Ferguson Park, in Snohomish, but I have not been there lately to check.
It seems like someone would have to go to alot of trouble to steal a permanent installed basket, then order and buy a new portable base for it, so I doubt yours is stolen from a course.

Looking like I got a legit purchase. Went out to Mossy Roc, played a few holes closest to the road, no missing baskets.

I believe Vander Yacht north of Mossy Roc has DISCatchers too. Might be from there although I am sure they would have mentioned it on here by now fyi.

Note that Sir Cornwall is talking about a Discatcher Sport (http://www.innovadiscs.com/discatcher/sport.html), not a full on Discatcher Pro (http://www.innovadiscs.com/discatcher/pro.html). Mossy Roc is the only course around that'd be using those that I know of.
