Going to Downriver after work. Leaving the valley @ 430 and will be there @ 5 if anybody wants to play.

Is the tournament layout pretty easy to follow? I will be there the Friday before to practice and would like to play a practice round on the tournament layout. I have only played last years Lilac layout and I assume things are a little different.

The layout is the 18 layout that it's been since they removed 6 8 and 12. The only difference from what I've heard is that 18 will have a mando to stop the spike hyzer route since it plays over another fairway. Besides that it'll be the same. Unless of course Stimpi decides to change his mind.

I'll be up there every other day until tourney day.

Threw a 1 over and a 3 over for my two rounds yesterday. Did try out some different things on the course that actually worked for me. Mainly driving some holes with thumbers where I'd only backhanded and driving a couple holes with my putters. All in all a good day.
