I've been playin sence 1992. I'm always trying to learn some new way to throw discs by watching others or just goofin and getting a "new to me" shot.
So I was goofin off in the back yard last night and came up with a"new to me" shot. Just like a UD throw but the disc is right side up with my fingers on top and my thumb hooked under the lip. Then I throw it like a UD shot from above the head and flat as possible. this is left handed or right handed too. The disc turns into the most predictable roller I've seen!! Blew me away!! I do use a roller shot left fore hand twisted to roll. The "new to me" throw is WAAAYY easier to control and is pinpoint acurate!! For me that is. I can't wait to test the limits of this kind of shot! If any of you all could enlighten me on this further I'd love the info as I don't think i"ve ever seen anybody else throw this shot..I'll get some pix to show the grip too.
By the way I'm a rhbh driver for max distance and Lhfh for upshots, rollers, tomahawks, UD's and some longer than comfortable putting shots.

I used it to climb a fence slat from 60 feet and drop the disc into a laundry basket. Worked perfect every time. Was trippin my friends out too. Shoulda played for push-ups. :-0
