Since I'm a regular traveler to Trout Lake and am up there pretty much every weekend crawling in caves from March to November, I'd like to check out the course and play in the tournament.
I'll be there.

Julee,
Are there many rooms still available? Do you still have to book for two nights to get the special? Also, do both people, one person, or neither have to play in the tournament to get the rate?

Hey I am a bit too worn down to do a total review, but I had a ton of fun. And I want to thank the greatest field of competitors a tournament has ever seen. They put up with some rough stuff out there and I only heard good things. HUGE thanks for making my job so easy and fulfilling.
Huge ups to all of our sponsors! Mt. Adams Lodge hosted us with style! Next Adventure put on a awesome ring of fire. And Innova really hooked it up as well. Thats not to mention all our hole sponsors like Pypes Palace, G.Willikers, 10 speed coffee, Tofurky, doppio, Naked Winery, Fuzzy blanket People, James Chase, Waucoma Bookstore, Lightening Discs, Full Sail Brewery and Pub, and HRDGC.
I will post the winners after I unpack my really packed car. Hope you can make it out next time Uhlman!

What an amazing tournament. For being the first one for Mt. Adams lodge, it ran like they had been doing it for years. Julee and Tim were some of the most gracious hosts I have ever met and their lodge was beautiful. The sponsors did a terrific job and NA had one of the most wicked ring of fires I have ever played in thanks to the crazy wind!
As for the TD's, Bryan and Jody YOU two really did an incredible job and were some of the most mellow and organized people I have been around. The Hood River DG club sure know how to do things right! BTW, Tree Top DG course is amazing as well and word around the camp fire is that there will be a one day tournament there next weekend. IF it is run anything like this one, it will be a lot of fun and with A LOT of CTP's.

It's been said already but I will echo those and say it was an excellent tournament and run very smooth by Bryan and Jody who by the way are two of the most positive and down to earth people I have ever met. Being a TD is sometimes very stressful and they both handled it extremely well. Julee and Tim were so friendly and welcoming and really made me feel at home. Every single person walked away from that tournament with at least something extra besides the very cool players pack. John and I drove from Everett (like a 5-6 hours drive) and it was well worth it. Views of Mt. Adams are beautiful up there so if you decide to go don't forget your camera!

I had a ctp, and hit a ring of fire from one knee.
And then the next day even found a new cave in nearby Trout Lake.
I'd like to thank all of the folks that made my first tournament experience a good time.
