I'm down to carrying 12. BUT ,of those, about 5 are used on 90% of my throws. I would like a smaller bag for regular non tournement rounds. I feel like I carry more than I need to keep my bag from de-forming into a sac.

Several molds, but most are experimental/niche discs. For the other 99% of my throws:

Destroyer (3)
Boss (2)
Orc (1)
Cro (1)
Aviar (2)

The number in parenthesis is the number I currently have in my bag. In cases of multiples, it is because some are new and some are beat.

Well . . . if I must :biggrin2: The question within the thread that has yet to be brought up is our definition of "mold". Here is an example: I have 3 Orcs in my bag. One is a slightly rare "pop-top" from the first run of Orcs. Another is a regular Champ with a "Eugene Celebration '08" stamp. The last is a slightly rare blue special-blend with the DX Orc stamp on it. IMO, these 3 are still of the same mold. My Aviars are an entirely different story. My go-to putter, my first-run Pro Aviar has a bead and was molded with SAN MARINO on the bottom. Then I have 3 other Aviars with the newest WWW.INNOVADISCS.COM molded into the bottom, but two of the three are beadless . . . IMO, I carry 3 different Aviar molds. :dancing: Anyway, on with my list

1-Monster, 175 Champ (early pearl)
1-Katana, 175 Special Blend (Pro Worlds '10)
1-Teebird, 175 Champ
1-TL, 175 CE Teebird w/ swoosh stamp
1-Whippet, 175 CE first-run circle stamp
1-Firebird, 175 CE blueberry "F" (Thanks, Dave :wink2: )
1-Eagle, 175 CE
1-Groove, 169 Special Blend (Gentlemen's Club '10)
1-Excalibur, 175 Champion (SOJ '08)
2-Banshees, 175 Glow Champ (SOJ '09), 175 11x (both best Banshees ever!)
3-Orcs, 175 Special Blend (DX stamp), 175 Champ pop-top, 175 Champ
1-Sidewinder, 175 Champ
1-Gator w/ bead, 175 Champ
2-Gators w/o bead, 175 Star, 175 Star
1-Destroyer, 175 Eco
4-Rocs (180), Champ '07 USDGC, DX, Special Blend '06 USDGC, U of O "wood"
1-Aviar San Marino w/ bead, 172 1st Run Pro
1-Aviar w/bead, 175 KC 12x
2-Aviar Drivers, 175 Champ Glow, 175 DX

19 . . . that is my final answer :nahnah: it's funny how each of these discs have their own little story :chinscratch: some more interesting than others . . . sounds like a fun campfire game, pull out your bag and tell each disc's story :explode:

notice the lack of a straight mid... auditions are ongoing. It was the Elite Z Storm, until the Cling-ons attacked and I developed 'Chuck Knoblauch Disease'. (mental block... couldn't make a simple throw to 1B)

I love the Nuke. It's faster by a bit and bout the same glide as a Boss but always consistent. I've been using mine for long floaty hyzers in the 325 to 375 range. Highbridge hole 4 in its current spot off to the left of the road is perfect. Deuce it every time since I got it.

Can't wait to get one beat so I can really see how far it can go.

Adopting the minimalist theory towards disc selection, I have pared down my bag to 7 molds and 14 discs.
It consists of
(Weight, Plastic, Mold, (Use))
· 175g DX Destroyer (head winds)
· 171g DX Orc (main driver)
· 171g Star Orc (main driver)
· 175g Star Valkyrie (secondary driver)
· 171g Star Valkyrie (secondary driver)
· 175g Star TeeBird (long mid range shots)
· 172g Glow DX TeeBird (long mid range shots)
· 180g Champ Coyote (Utility, long approach, and “trick” shots)
· 175g Star Coyote (Utility, long approach, and “trick” shots)
· 171g Glow Champ Coyote (Utility, long approach, and “trick” shots)
· 175g Glow DX Roc (it’s a roc)
· 174g Bottom Stamped DX Roc (it’s a roc)
· 174g DX Aero (Putt and approach)
· 174g Champ Aero (Putt and approach)
These discs work for me in most of the situations I have encountered. By limiting the number of discs in my bag to a max of 15 disc and 8 molds I have decreased my bag weight and lowered my average scores. The last spot is open for either, a condition specific disc or a DiT (Disc in Testing). I can also remove one of my Coyotes if I feel I need a two condition specific discs. I know there are many people out there with huge bags full of discs that may scoff at minimalist bags but I once carried a bag full deluxe bag and I wasn’t using a lot of them in a round. You can always carry extra discs in your trunk.
