Chuck, what are your thoughts on the worlds courses this year? I've played Lemon Lake many times and really only saw one course that I would consider even somewhat challenging for elite professional players. Are they making modifications to the existing courses or playing as is?

Don't get me wrong, I love playing at Lemon Lake and the courses are very, very nice but they seem more suited to an Am worlds rather than Pro.

No one has seen or played the final layout and pin positions yet. They are still being completed this spring. The Gold course will play 9300', the Blue at 7000' and the Red at 6300' making this the third highest average SSA in history during prelim rounds ahead of KC and behind just Allentown and Highbridge which are tied for first.

Very cool, so it sounds like the permanent courses will be modified quite a bit?

Not huge changes although the Gold course is almost new with changes everywhere. The Blue and Red have some tricky new placements turning several more holes into legit par 4s.
