Just got one the other day. All I can say is WOW. Might just be my main mid-range instead of my buzz or roc. Decided to throw from blue 17 @ white river and it went 300feet perfectly straight and NO fade. Took about 10 drives all ended up with in 5 foot spread.
P.S. I prefer the white color seems softer than the other colors...

The mako is by far the most stable disc I've ever thrown. My release angle isn't always the best and the mako really shows it cause it'll just go straight on any line it's on. I really like it for big anhyzers too cause it'll hold that turn with very little chance of fading on you 3/4 of the way there.

Dunno if "stable" is the word you're looking for there. Maybe "neutral"?

Stable is the right word. People oftem misinterpret "stable" to mean "overstable".
For RHBH:
Overstable turns left
Stable flies straight (on the line it is thrown)
Understable turns right
Now everyone lay your head down on your desk for 5 minutes.

I'd say stable means straight with a left finish, like a Teebird or new Roc. Overstable is pretty much turning left right out of your hand. A disc that sticks on any line you put it on, I'd call neutral.

I agree that "stable" may be a correct term, but "neutral" is less confusing.

Rocs and Teebirds are high speed stable (this part of the flight is a straight line), with a moderate fade.
The Mako is high speed slightly understable, with a low fade.
So you're both pretty much right.

Probably. "Straight" may also be a better term.

The Mako's I've thrown all seem to be great straight line mids but get really poppy and floaty when snapped decently hard. All of them seem to pop up in the middle of it's flight, usually when the right hand high speed turn hits.
Weird that the only Innova mid that doesn't seem to do this consistently out of the box is the Roc.
With that all said it's longer but not by much then a Buzzz. Then again long is a necessity for a mid.

lots of glide. i've been throwing one since they came out last september or so. its for when i can't get my aviar there and whatever i throw can't fade off at all at the end. tight narrow wooded fairways. think east side rooster hole 3 or sain scoggins(hagg lake)wooded holes.
