I was trying to find the thread that gave the location of the proposed land for the new course in Shelton and couldn't find it. One of my coworkers is from Shelton and I wanted to show him where it is going. Does anyone know?

Just search for the keyword "Shelton." There are two threads:

Not much to see yet but here are the cords 47.234162, -123.116140 should be able to plug those into google maps to see the general area. Basically the forested area between Brockdale and Shelton Springs Road, roughly 50-70 acres.

Just poles for the time. They do drag out baskets for their events though

We recently added the last pole to make a full 18. Our mentality is to make sure what we're doing is exactly what we want before concrete goes in the ground. This will allow for minor tweaks and any revisions we're looking to do without cursing ourselves for "jumping the gun". As far as baskets go, the Club owns 8 Mach V's and intends to get funding for the final 10 by September. The baskets should be in the ground by October!

In the mean time, we encourage any and all to play Shelton Springs to the poles for a unique challenge, and with the signage for the tees the Course would be fairly navigable. Or, you could come play in our MCDG Series events, where we haul 18 baskets. We have 4 more events on our schedule, and they will all more than likely be hosted at Shelton Springs Disc Golf Course.

Not these work parties but when we start dropping in the baskets later this year we might throw that party on the calendar. Some of the hardest ground to dig in... ever so more bodies the better.

As for the course construction work parties we have one or two almost every week and weeks before tournaments we have a lot more. We had one last Saturday this Wed, Thur, and this Saturday all in prep for The Throwdown in Sheltown tournament Saturday the 18th. If anyone want to help with any of these smaller work parties PM me or sigh up for the mailing list on the site, you can click my signature to get there.

We won't have all 36 tees done for the 18th but they will all be done for The Mason County Disc Golf Championship on August 1st and if thats not on the calendar adding it would be super cool of you.
