Well I better put this out there. When you come out on Sunday and every Thursday after that...PLEASE PLEASE :kissflowers: no large bills over $20. It is such a pain in my backside breaking money and doing the sign-ups. I will bring some change, but if there are a lot of $20's coming in I will ask for you to try and break it before signing up. I will allow you to sign up with a $20 if you are signing up you + 2-3 other peeps.

One word for last night...WOW!!!!
When I first rolled into the park not that many people were there. By 5:25 I had 64 people show up to play :rockon:. I for one was :shocked:. I believe this is the most to show up at the beginning of the Dubz on Thursday! There were only two holes that were left open. As many people on the course I think our group was held up only a couple of times...AWESOME!!!

I do want to thank Chris Jones (Aftershock) and Rob Ryan (Champ Wraith and water jug, towel and bandana from Next Adventure) for the CTP's. :bowing:
The Aftershock was on hole 18 won by Kris Pine and the Champ Wraith and other items on hole 2 won by Sam Bieber. :yay:

For this large a turn out we had a good size payout for the top 8 teams...
1st Tyler Christianson - Lankins (-13) won $50
2nd Dizzy - Chris Jones (-11) won $34
3rd Grummert - Camo (-9) won $26
4th Doug Baldwin - Ali (-8...six groups in playoff) won $22
5th Don Stowell - Eddie F (-8) won $19

There was a situation that happened at the end of the tourney after the teams turned their cards in to us. Eventhough these are not PDGA Tournies we still follow the rules...right. Well 3-4 teams turned in score cards not added up correctly. Since the beginning of me throwing this I made the rule that we will recalculate the score give you the correct score...then give you a two stroke penalty. I could DQ you but I don't see the reason...again this is for fun, but at the end of the year there can be a lot of $$$$ on the line so I penalize by strokes instead of straight out DQ. SO FROM NOW ON ADD YOUR SCORE CARDS UP AND THEN HAVE SOMEONE ELSE VERIFY YOUR CARD! :headbang:

Remember next week again sign-ups will be from 5-5:30 and playing SAP after that. If we again hit the 64 spot I may turn the other people away...so don't be late!

I will be forwarding the standings to Stu so here shortly we should have them up for you to view. Thank you Stu for your assistance again.

WOW!!!! I thought since BSF was having doubles / Pro clinic and we had no ace pot...there would be 30 or so to show up. Well I was really off on my guess...61 players showed up to play :shocked:. We even had some of the pros that are playing at the Fling play... Andrew Rich, Cary (NV) and our regulars Skelly, Tyler Christianson, and Dizzy.

After playing #8 I left my TBird (marked with name, number and "roll me" in several locations) ON THE FAIRWAY near the basket. Yellow/orange in color. 90%+ chance it would be seen by one of the next two DD groups that came through. 100% sure it was picked up before the round was over. PLEASE return this disc.

Well it's that time of year again and a end of Dabney Doubles. I can't believe how fast this summer went :waaah:. Tonight is the last event for everyone. Next week is playoff and possible best of the rest...very slim chance to have best of the rest :chinscratch:

Last Thursday everyone was a winner! I would have to say that last nights finals were one for the ages. I watched a lot of the Top 6… Chris Jones and Dizzy started out on fire and continued it for the front 9…Jones/Dizzy took the first 5 holes out right…crazy within the first five holes and be up $150.00 can make you feel good. Hole 6,7,8,9,10 push. Timmy steps up on 11 Tee with his good luck charm watching (his father) and puts the disc within 15 feet from the pin to take the 6 hole skins…a cooool $180.00 :drool:. After Timmy and Eddie got those skins the game was on and no one was going to let that happen again. For the remaining holes one team would have a great shot and the other teams shot was ok, but someone from the teams that were out would drill a looonnnngggg putt to push the hole. This went on for the last 7 holes. I do want to give props to Zach and Sean H. for playing light out, but were not getting the breaks to get any skins. On the last hole…tee pad 10 to basket 18…there were 7 skins up for grab a lot of big arm throws to 18. Again Zach/Sean put it close and yes you can guess another team pinned it and pushed the skins. They decided to split the last 7 holes so everyone would take $$$$ home.
