I want to get some courses around Lincoln City and up to Tillamook. That is my focus since I want to move from Portland to the coast in about 18 months.

My firt thought of disc golf on the Oregon coast is that there is TONS of space on the oregon coast that could make a bitchen natural course.

My main contributions would be my marketing skills and vision. Im in Business school right now and was thinking about trying to tye in disc golf with my marketing research for school. I'm trying to break into emarketing right now. Maybe if someone out there with the disc golf connections would want to contact me and we could put forth an effort to get a course installed out there.

I have previous experience raising money for non profits. Last spring me and a few classmates earned over $2000 for a non profit called Oregon Active in Portland, Oregon. We held a Big Kids Kickball tournament for $20 bucks a person. It was lots of fun and very successfull for our first group effort! I would be interested in holding similiar events for disc golf course fund raising in the future.

Thank you for your reply. I had already read through that thread prior to making this thread though. I felt like the initiative was already there for Astoria but is not present around Tillamook and Lincoln Counties. Most of my friends and family are located in those areas. Thats why I am attempting to start another one down the coast a ways or atleast get some people talking about it.

I saw a great piece of land a few years back just north of Newport that i think would make a great course. not sure who owns the land though. didnt spend much time there.
