Next weekend is for sure at Pier? one schedule shows it, and another shows Milo, so which is it?

Well with 9 holes Milo would be a bit of a cluster, Troy.

yeah i guess that is true, forgot Milo only has 9 right now.

Dabney always has its baskets in place why not there it has a covered area and speed of play went well IMO

I think that besides the heavy down pour we received at our first outing Dabney offers a great challenge to keep everyone happy. I also like that it keeps play moving faster for the rounds maybe I'm a little biased

I heard that the Baskets will be back in at Milo about middle February. Jordan all you need to do is give them a call and let them know what date we will be there.

I still think we should play cock rock and play doubles on the East side and singles on the West side. I think Jordan is just scared to play rooster rock because he has bad memorys from when he used to sun bath on the East side with Jeff Hemmerling.

I only went out there on the days you were spying from the bushes. ;)

Agreed, Rooster would be nice to play. Milo is a mighty fine second option however.

Dammit! I KNEW I should've done more research before posting and not relied on my Holiday addled brain to remember. I hate it when I do that. Thanks for the prompt Keith, if not for the visual. (Some are sure to need counseling)

Here's where we are from some middle page of the TDG Schedule thread created by DanD:

January 2-3 - Pier Park - 8x S - 8a CSL
January 16-17 - North Bonneville - 8x S - 8a CSL
February 13-14 - Rooster Rock - 9a S - 8x CSL
February 27-28 - Trojan - 9a S - 8x CSL

This gets us no parks played twice for TDG matches in 9 events! We still need to pick a good date for the TDG Championships in March.:pirate:

hey, I didnt do the test open book. I just went off guesses. The rules that I did miss had nothing to do with what happened, but they were OB questions. And as far as that occurence at Timber I am way over it. The only thing that still has me thinking about it, is the fact that I have heard from teamates who talked with the guy I was playing is that he wanted to hit me because of it? :nono: I heard he was afraid I would have kicked his ass though. I am not a fighter at all, so I do find this funny.

I bring it up because if someone feels this way about Team Disc, then they do not really belong playing it. Definitely not the top of the guy I would want on my team. Team disc is casual, but rules do still apply. If one of my team members wanted to get physical because of a call like the one that happened, than I would have doubts about having them on the team next year. They are my buddies, but disc has no room for physical altercations because of the rules.

And as far as the test goes, I do know the basic rules, but I dont play Pro, never will, so who cares if I miss a couple questions? That has no bearing on what happened that day.

Green Bowl Packers 8 Vs 3 Couples & D-Walk 4
Putt This! 6 Vs Crazy 18 7 (Tie Breaker 617-619)
Dancing Cows 7 Vs WMD 5
Eastside Crushers 7 Vs Whiskey Discs 5 (Tie Breaker 698-727)

Another close match involving Putt This! but they came out on the losing side this time. But the true cautionary tail this week belongs to the Eastside Crushers. In the afternoon round their uncontested Dubs match only played 1 hole for a 5 stroke victory. Had the morning Dubs match done the same with a 5 stroke victory THEY WOULD HAVE LOST THE MATCH ON THE TIEBREAKER!!! Lucky that they played enough holes in the morning to amass a 50 stroke lead or they would've lost the match.

Sunday Matches

Salty Good & Sassy 8 Vs Team Skinny 5
Big Winds 4.5 Vs Drunker & Disoderlier 7.5
Dark Horse 6 Vs Westside Slingers 7 (Tie Breaker 562-577)
Vapor Trail 4 Vs Rockwood Roughnecks 8

This makes the WWotE Division top 4 teams all within 1 game of each other: Putt This! and Big Winds a game in front of the Green Bowl Packers and Salty Good & Sassy! And the final 3 weeks will be the big showdown!

The Score files are posted to the website. Please check them to make sure we didn't make any mistakes.:pirate:

Green Bowl Packers Tom T-Ry Rybloom 3 3 0 37.5
Salty Good & Sassy Jordan Lewis 3 3 0 37
Westside Slingers Jason McGrew 2 4 0 31.5

With the Westside Slingers playing both Big Winds & Putt This! before the year is out even the 2 game lead isn't too much to overcome. That would be the comeback of the ages for a team that fielded all 7 players for the first time all season last weekend.

Meanwhile over in the Glinda division those Crazy 18 are holding onto their slim 1 MP lead over the Eastside Crushers while the revitalized Whiskey Discs are only 2 games back.

It is still anybody's game in the Locasta division with the teams separated by a game each with 3 to go.

Last year's champs are holding a commanding 2 game lead on Dark Horse so the battle will be for 2nd place with the surprising Drunker & Disorderlier team only a half game back due to the tie. Barring a complete collapse by the Roughnecks they should be in the finals as the Elphaba division winners.

A great finish to another fun year of Team Disc Golf is coming down the stretch run!:pirate:

We all suspected it, and now we've proven it. Ryan Gwillim is a Freak of Nature. Out of nowhere he tears the course up in the morning shooting a blistering 1063 rated round of 47.:bowing::cheers:

Thanks for checking my data entry! I'll get right on that correction.

When I do these files by myself I don't have a way to double check them. At least I haven't updated the team ratings yet so I don't have to re-do them!:pirate:

No, I'm pretty sure that he'll prefer his rating after I changed it back to his real score as a round of 54 was rated 994!

So after his score was corrected the SSA ended up at 53.37

Post #71 has the AM Sunday round ratings with your 69.

Post #72 has the incorrect PM Sunday round ratings with Joe's round of 54.

Post #75 has the corrected PM Sunday round ratings and Kirsten's 71.

I think that this is correct, but the brain isn't working at its peak...:bricks:

Is it just me or are the round ratings getting more and more inflated?

We really need some help from Chuck Kennedy with these ratings files, I am at a loss as to what to do but to continue on the course we are following.

Even if Chuck comes up with the magic bullet that fixes all of our ratings woes, what can we do? Do we recalculate all of the ratings for each week and retroactively change the matches for the year?

Maybe 38 players per round isn't enough to make the math work correctly...:bricks:

I need to stop posting this late at night, it is too hard to be positive about anything.:pirate:

As long as everyone's rating has the same amount of inflation it shouldn't really matter, should it?

As long as everyone's rating has the same amount of inflation it shouldn't really matter, should it?Agreed.

I did the math for a couple of the previous weeks and on average the whole field is gaining ten rating points per person per round. So on average you'll be 10 rating points above your starting rating for every round you played.

As Jordan said, it's too late to fix things now. However we really want to fix this for next year.
