THIS IS TO REMIND YOU THAT THE NEXT MATCHES START EARLIER THAN THE FIRST WEEK AGAIN AS WE HAVE LESS DAYLIGHT TO WORK WITH.

CAPTAINS SET LINEUPS AT 8 AM!!! DO NOT BE LATE!!!

WE WANT TO TEE OFF THE FIRST ROUND AT 8:30AM!!

We may be held up at the gate so please be ready to go for Milo. We will have the last weekend of the 36 hole tourney layout available to us. So I am thinking about playing TDG using that layout. West side in the AM and East side in the PM.

Anybody want to research the SSA for these courses? Flash?:pirate:

Hey King Jordan what is the stroke count for Milo and what course will we be playing. Will you be out there and will we play am or pro tee's. Could you send Dan(the bitch)Denny out there to clean the tee's and pick up the trash since that is all he is good for. chop chop we need you to dictate to us what to play and what to do.

Milo has kept out the BSF/Hab-Rec 36 basket layout so I think we need to take advantage of that and play those layouts. West in the AM and East in the PM.
I know that some of the added holes do not have tee pads, so be careful when you tee off just like you should for every other non-tee shot you take on the course in winter conditions.:cop: If you absolutely do not want to tee off from the tee area due to mud, then you can move as far back as you need to (in a straight line from the pin through the tee pad) in order to have safe footing. On hole East 8 you can tee from the road and West 8 you can tee from the path intersection area if you need pavement.

As far as handicaps go: We can play the Pro pads with an 8 RP/stroke handicap or we can shoot from the AM pads with a 9 RP/stroke handicap. Which do you want to do?

East layout AM/Pro pads: 1, 6, 7, 10, 13, 14 & 15. The rest all have 1 pad.
West layout AM/Pro pads: 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 13, 14, 16 & 17. The rest all have 1 pad (hole 15's pro pad is brutal so I'm not counting that one...:whistler:)

We can do different handicaps for each round if you'd like to mix it up for Pro & AM tee pads...like say West Pro in the morning and East AM in the afternoon. At least we should still have enough light to get it all in before dark.:pirate:

Yes but will it be outweighed by the crying over the handicap...that is the question!

Is it worth the higher handicap to play from the long pads...:chinscratch:

I'm not sure that you are completely certain what the difference really is between the 2 choices so let's take an example from your match this weekend against Dark Horse:

Pro Pads:
Carl T Thorne vs Erika Best = 24 strokes
(974-777)/8=24.625

Am Pads:
Carl T Thorne vs Erika Best = 21 strokes
(974-777)/9=21.889

Stu I know you and Jeff Hemmerling would love to play those am Master tee's that you played at the Hab-Rec but so I dont get hurt I would say the safe tee's are the pro pads. I forget that most of team putt this are am masters except for Jeff Hagerty maybe next year Eastside crushers will have to get Hagerty on our team. I like taking players away from Hemmerling like Redfern so Hagerty if Hemmerling drives you nuts then we would love to have you on our team next year.:evilgrin:

I'm assuming you are confident that your tee shot is under the basket so that you don't have to throw from a slippery lie in the grass? :whistler: I'm ok with all pro pads just so we don't have to play a pitch and putt course. (right Haggerty?) :biggrin2:

West in the AM or East in the AM??

:cheerleader:

I don't think that it matters. Everybody says that we'll have way more light than we need even though we ALWAYS get kicked out of the park by the ranger as full darkness falls...(usually with one or more players losing discs):whistler:

I would say that you don't want to have to finish your afternoon round on any of the heavily wooded holes, so maybe East in the AM and West in the PM...:chinscratch:

Then there is the chance you won't get to play one of the courses. If you play singles both rounds you would only be on one side.

Jordan,

I wish my rating can go this far down, but um :whistler:
I was with my WIFE celebrating our 1st year of being married :kissflowers:.

I think you have to redue these numbers and base them on our newest member of the team...M-Ry . If I remember T-Ry mentioned that M-Ry was given an 800 rating...I could be wrong. I'll still take this lower rating for this weekend if you want me to.

Thanks for the tip Kevin, I hope that you and your wife had a great time!

And now you have to ask yourself, why is it important to fill out the match sheets correctly? Because I try to save some time and enter all the info straight from the match sheets. When you screw it up like this, then we get to go back and re-do all of the crap over again...

Cindy McMahan WOW what an awesome day of golf at Horning's today. I shot 2 PBs +4 on the Canyon & -10 on the Highland course. Then an awesome round with the ladies on the Highland Shawn, Jnet, Jen, T, Judy. Best of all though was my man Steve getting is first ace #4 on the Highland. It was truley epic one of the best day of golf we have had so far :)

I believe SGS's Mr. Treelove also shot a +4 on the Canyon Course. Hmmmm looks like a straight up shoot out is in order.

Amber Lance did shoot a 59 that round because I was in that round with him and crist. Lance had to give crist two strokes thats why on the main sheet jordan put a 61 down for the round. they forgot to take that out when doing the ratings he should be 59.

Jordan has a 63 for the round, after giving him 2 strokes. Work sheet show a front 9 of 27 and back 9 of 34, which adds to a 61. Then 2 strokes because of the handicap. But everyone was sure it was a 59. Cox was even mad that he shot a 1 down also and still didn't win against D-Walk. So not sure where the screw up is but Jordan, Lance shot a 59 in the am. Thank you.

Jordan,

I believe the results will be a little different once the number are re-crunched with using M-Ry and his 800 rating should change the overall points to BW 3 Vs GBP 9. :wink2:

Sunday

VT 3.5 Vs SGS 9.5
BW 5 Vs GBP 7
PT 4 Vs RR 8
TS 8 Vs D&D 4

OK. I checked the score cards and Lance was given 2 extra strokes on the back 9 by mistake. His scorecard said 32 AND the sheet turned in said 32. I must have typed in 34 by mistake. Thanks for checking. At least we caught it before the next event.

I am on my second day of debilitating sickness, but can stand to be mostly horizontal. I will try to get all of the mistakes and changes fixed and get out the ratings we will use for the next event today.:pirate:

There was also a data entry error on Josh Fry's afternoon round where he was credited with a 75 instead of an 80. My bad. That also changed the match point so that GBP won the match 10-2.
Also Victor didn't finish the last half of his match and took 7's, so I am throwing out his score for round calculations. That makes the whole round ratings a little more accurate.
