I LOVE!! my Targhee II Mids and I need more. I am one of those who just can't bring himself to buy at full retail (too expensive even if I wanted to) and Nordstroms rack doesn't have any Keens in right now. Any other ideas on procuring some keens for cheap?

Cabellas bargain cave has some good deals on shoes. Luck of the draw for what you find.

WOW! Cabelas has one pair of Keens in their bargain cave. They were the exact shoes I was looking for. They were $79 where everyone else is like $119-$129. That is a big discount.

I was at Nordstroms rack on Sunday, and they had some in larger sizes. They get shipments in a couple times a week, so don't give up just because you don't see any one day.

Beaverton. I was looking at size 12's, and they had at least three different styles, including both sandal style and closed toe. I didn't see any waterproof closed toe, but maybe another day.

I tried those on at REI today and thought the soles of the Keen Targhee II Mids were really slippery compared to other shoes I tried on. (They have a faux rockpile with railings that you can climb around on.) On the other hand, they were appealing for disc golf because of the massive chunk of rubber around the toe.
I ended up buying the Merrell Moab Mid XCR.

I found a pair of Keen sandals at the Gladstone Goodwill a few weeks back. Obviously, very hit and miss. :)

I ended up buying some Vasques on clearance at REI. They looked really narrow, btu when I put them on they fit just perfect. perhaps the best fit I have ever had outside of Keens. Fantastic shoes.
