wow, this saturday huh? that's kind of crazy short notice.
c tiers? so that will naturally change the cost right? is this weekend going to be a c teir? if not, are we looking at the same costs as before? 15 am, 20 pro?
is that timber linn or timber park?:confused::confused:

Aren't most OLE's in the mid-valley? I would guess Timber Linn (in a tournament layout, of course).

Phew! Good thing Timber is there in Estacada so we can play some disc golf. Not like there is a vastly superior course right across the river or anything...
Why Timber and not Milo???

Probably due to the fact that here wouldnt be enough time in the day to play 36 holes at Milo by Jan.

Also possibly that it costs like $50 to reserve Timber for a day a lot more for Milo?

Timber Park in Estacada, because it's one of Tom's favorite fun courses.
Dexter is for sure PDGA, and any other park that requires insurance... TBD for now, but Bryant is NOT going to be PDGA this weekend.

Oregon Liquid Environment tournaments are one day tournaments of 36 holes. In the past they were played mostly at temporary courses in and around Lane County; last year they were at mostly permanent courses in Eugene, Corvallis and Albany. This year, you can see the schedule on the original post in this thread. The old OLE website is still viewable at http://www.ole.orsdiscgolf.com/index.htm but has not been updated for this year. Previously, OLEs were unsanctioned events, but it sounds like some of this years events may be sanctioned.
Fun tournaments, cool people, good courses! Sign up early on the day of at the park. I'm going to start a new thread for the next OLE at Waterloo on Nov. 7th.

are there going to be 15+ pros there? i doubt it but you never know. as of last year 15+ pros was about the average for a full ole, but this year there has been large spurt in the field (in general at least)... :chinscratch:

Let's bump this thread.
The Cottage Grove OLE should be a lot of fun. Get there early (8 AM would make sense) or you might be heading up to Dexter for random doubles.
I know a lot of OLEs up north weren't crowded, but this is the southern valley, where the OLEs were born.
The locals and the shooters from down south will come out for this. Should be a great show on a fun course. You may want to be there.
