Thanks for the great images!
Dave Feldberg is excited for the duck chuck since he was unable to attend the last (after all, he is the one who started this tournament years back).
Should be another great opportunity to play on campus as we fund raise for our first Collegiate Tournament which is West Coast College Open, November 7-8 down in Monterey CA.
So please everyone come out and support us :trophy:

THE UNIVERSITY OF OREGON
DISC GOLF CLUB
DUCK CHUCK DISC GOLF TOURNAMENT
Sunday, Oct 18th 2009
WHERE: THE UNIVERSITY OF OREGON CAMPUS (MEET AT EMU AMPHITHEATRE)
TIME: REGISTRATION @9:00 A.M. FIRST ROUND @ 10:00 A.M.
We are planning on playing two rounds of 18 holes on the campus course. We will provide a light breakfast before we play the first round, have a short lunch break, and then play a second round. We are anticipating that we will have an awards ceremony around 3:00 P.M.
Cost: $15 Recreational/$20 Competitive
There will be two divisions competitive and recreational. Recreational division is intended for beginners with limited to no experience and competitive is for those who have played and want to compete to test their skills on the course. This tournament is open to the public, but all students will receive a $5 discount with a current UO Student ID. There will be prizes for both divisions. All proceeds from the Tournament will go to the University of Oregon Disc Golf Club and will be used to help pay for travel expenses during the 2009-2010. The team took 8th place at the National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships last year and we hope to get back there this year and improve, but we cannot do it without your support. So come play in the campus tournament, and help support a good cause!

You do remember how to use a computer, right? Does Google ring a bell?
Go to this site and search for EMU: http://map.uoregon.edu/

the EMU is located at the intersection of 13th and university st.
from that intersection it will be obvious where we are meeting and stuff.
the only thing is that the roads are closed to cars at this area so you will have to park a block away or two where the parking meters are free on sundays.

Everyone with a UO bag tag bring them to the tournament. They will be collected and redistributed.

Wow, what a fun day! 54 players came out to support the U of O Club, under sunny skies and Autumn colors that were spectacular. Great temp course set up on the campus with ALL pavement/concrete OB. Ever walked a college campus? There is pavement/concrete EVERYWHERE! It felt like I was pavement all morning but in the end it was only four times. Limited that to one in the afternoon. The Club ran a an awesome event and I can't wait for the next one. (there's talk of maybe another Grasshopper Doubles ;))

Don't forget the coffee and other catered refreshments!
Great job U of O. Realize that next time you may have to turn people away. The field darn near filled up.
What a great venue! Loved the risk/reward with all the OB. Loved the trees in their fall garb.
