Got #16 on the Hightland course at Horning's today. This is my first forehand ace. I was trying to see if my 157 champion firebird could earn a spot back in my bag. Well I think it did for sure.
Also had another one pop out on #10 in the same round. Number 9 happens to be my lucky number, and what a way to celabrate my lucky 9 day :yay:

Nice work! I have yet to get an ace on a public course with baskets...my home course has pins and I think that it's a little bit easier to get an ace on a pin...you serve as great inspiration!!!

Well, I will have to call Cindy as Super ACE Woman as she has been collecting all 6 aces within one year! Awesome! I have been playing more than 4 years, and I haven't collect one yet but there was one time that I came so close to get one at Horning's Hideout Highland # 11 which my disc bounced off the rim of the basket. I will resort to steal the super power from Cindy to get one ace for this year!

... ha! try 12 years with only one (on a basket) that was such a silly, shorty hole i hardly feel like i can count it... out on my home course (pins) i've had a ton, tho... just to defend myself a little bit... ha!
cindy... congrats! must have felt incredible... i will live vicariously thru your aces...

If I remember correctly (only been once since I live 45 minutes North of Seattle) but isn't that hole like 430 feet? I can only dream of throwing that far but to get an ace of that distance is incredible, way to go!!

I think 17 is the one that goes down towards the river? The same one Suzie Q got at the 2009 GNO right. Not sure of the distance, but probably 250ish?

I think you're thinking of #16. 17 is shorter, but tucked down behind a little hill, blind from the teepad (I'm guessing that's the regular 17, at least.). Fully legit ace to get though, I'd be stoked about it for sure.

A crazy week. I had 4 friends throw 5 aces on 3 courses ( I witnessed 2 of them). 2 of the aces were on the same pin, only different pads. They nearly were consectutive days, 1 day in between without an ace.

I would think that clicking the forum that says "Women's Disc Golf" and then the topic thread in that forum that says "ACES!! (Women's Disc Golf)" you would know exactly where you are, but then again we are talking about disc golfers...
AKA Hey Rolly post that in the CORRECT FORUM BUD!

You would think.
But I suspect that many people simply click the New Posts link. When you do that, the forum you are posting in isn't as clear.
