Not really a meet to play since we already met and already played. The Hagg Crew, minus a couple went out to Lucky Mud yesterday for the first time. On our way there we stopped at a store along the way and realise Skyline Golf Course was right behind the store. Anyways, we made our way to Lucky Mud. First we somehow missed our turnoff, but realized abut 10 miles later and turned around. After finding Skamakowa Valley Rd which turned into East Valley, we made our way in. The road ws down to one lane and crumbling badly so we thought we were lost, but just a bit further we found The Mud!!!!!! Ol' Bob was gracious enough to play a round with us and show us around. What an amazingly Beautiful place!!!!! After our round we hung out with Bob for a few and headed off. On our way back we decided to stop at Skyline since we had some daylight left. Again, a very beautiful and fun course. pretty cheap to pay to play, but since the golf course was closing, we were lucky enough to be able to play for free this time. Somehow we made it through all 18 with just enough light to finish.

Both of these courses are tons of fun and will definitely be making the trip again!!!! If you want to go to the Mud though, contact Bob and the Inn before just showing up.

I've been going over my score in my head, playing back the round, hole by hole, and I think I screwed up on keeping track and didn't break par, but maybe hit even par. None of you guys kept my score, did you? I remember bogies on 8, 10, and I think, 13. Seems like there may have been another. I think I birdied 12, 13, 20, and possibly one more. That's what happens when I drink two pints of IPA on a round, I guess.

I shot like crap, but enjoyed every minute of it!!!!! I think Jeff finished at +2, Erik finished at +7, and Karl and I got +9. not bad for our first time ever there. I know I could do much better next time. I played Skyline much better. got quite a few birdies and pars there. maybe a couple bogies. I did lose a disc on 15 though. The downhill one. I was still way high in the air close to pin high and went left into the thick about 40-50 ft or so. ultraflight26 or whatever his name is knows about it though, I hope its found. You played some pretty good par golf out there Bob. you ha those bogies, but also quite a few birdies. Im sure you finished around even.

Well, I didn't drink so much that I can't remember having a good time. Would you believe nobody showed up to huk on that beautiful Sunday? So I mowed all the shaggy spots and the center fairway walkouts. I'll be darned if I'll spend gallons of diesel to mow the dandelions. Just as I was finishing my mow, something went 'BOOM!' in my mower. After a few minutes of looking around, I discovered that my exhaust pipe had fallen off and gone under the mower. Screwed that up pretty good. That became my afternoon project. I would have rather been hukking.
