The way too smart answer in the forum about marking your disc got me thinking about this.
I was completely expecting a conversation on what types of minis people use. Hell, I've seen crazier threads in here.

I would love to post a picture of my super awesome glow Zing mini with a DGO stamp. Unfortunately I can't because Fooqua threw it into the bushes by the practice basket at Pier... :waaah:

My DGO mini's are touring with Jay and Des Reading. That's why I bought Zing Mini's for the RCO.

You guys know that you can only mark your lie with one, right? Hmmm... could you stack five of them, though... :chinscratch:

Bob, those must be some professional minis if they are out on tour.

Four centimeters would most assuredly create an unfair advantage.

so that's why some players try to tip toe up and stand on their mini's when they putt, cheaters! I'm packing a ruler from here on out... cheat in my prensence, I dare ya... I already caught Chandler packing his shoes with mini's so he could get a height advantage, he's really 5'8"....

Snap, if someone is touching their mini when they are putting they are already breaking the rules. That would be a foot fault!
I agree the 3 cm rule is a bit ridiculous who would ever need a 1 inch high mini, that thing would fly like a brick!

Here's my newest mini. It's pretty hard to throw when I mark with it though:

Guess you better put your mini back in your bag and pull out a legal one... :biggrin2:

I've seen one of those minis before and I doubt it was three centimeters. Looks legal to me.

Last time I was asked to do this, there was a look of horror followed by some laughter... and eventually the lawsuit...
Maybe next time. :whistler:

Anyone have a Tony The Tiger mini?

I found this cereal box promo after the big flood of '95/'96, washed up on the bank of the Columbia about 20 miles from the ocean. It's a bit sun bleached and pretty brittle now. I'm not Uncle Bob. Some think it looks like my picture on this glow mini.

Did you hear the story how I called Cris Bellinger on this very rule during a PDGA tourney?
He was trying to use a can of chewing tobacco as his marker. I told him it wasn't a legal marker, so we measured it. Easily 4+ centimeters in height!:cop:
Ahh the good old days...:pirate:
PS I usually mark with 3 minis: Discraft Ultrastar over the smaller and larger lightning combo. Maybe with calipers you could determine if it's over 3 centimeters but I doubt it.

 I don't know Cris well at all, but the couple times I've met him, he seemed to be a stickler for the rules, to say the least.

There is some grass stuck to your minis. You should keep your equipment cleaner.

No picture of my minis, but here's the mini basket I built this evening. It was hot, and I wanted to stay inside in the AC and play. The chain configuration is more or less like a Mach 3 or 5.
