instead of doing weekly results and then series points on the same page i'm going to split it up
so here or the weekly results for 5-9-09
we voted to play singles almost unanimus ,i always vote doubles looks like running the series doesn't get you no where, we had 17 people plus
Braden who played 13 of the 18 holes and was 21 over for those holes, we had Mike M. join for the first time and also paid into the series, we had 15 pay into the ace pot without no ace so it is up to 103.00,we had alot of wind early tapering off at the end,,, up shots and putts were affected greatly in my group,, so here are the results

well we had 17 people,we voted singles once again,close vote but still singles,the weather was great ,calm ,a little muggy,not much foot traffic,course played as expected,long and tough on most,Mr. tuesday tore it up with a 49 seven under par ,next best score was Micah with a 54,we added 13.00 to the ace pot which no one can seam to win for a total of 116.00,

well there goes another week of disc golf pleasure,I thank all thee comments on the courses I come up with, especialy the made up holes that people really like, and the fairness that the courses are, no complaints about hardly anything,sorry for the family that got out of most peoples way but not all,the baseball field in the park is not a reservable field ,when the little kiddie baseball was going on at 5:00 I allways made a hole in that area late in the round when no one would be there,,even when you get rude people that won't get out of the way ,,play the hole later or don't play it at all,we can make up a hole at the end ,, I feel bad that not all played it the same way especially since me and Jeni were the only team to birdie the hole,so I won't use that hole anymore eventhough it is really picturess and 350 or so, so thanks for all the comments and here are the results
we voted doubles,the ace pot is now up to 128.00,Shaun and Leeland won the c.t.p. prizes, a car saftey kit, Billy and Chris won the last place prize of a mini

we had 19 people show up, we voted singles, came down to the last vote again, we had Matt from Cali and Jeff from Arizona that made 3 states and 6 cities accounted for on a Tuesday at Wortman, yeah, we had 3 c.t.p. winners, Matt-mini, Jerimia-car care, Brock-disc, ace pot is at 146.00 and counting, very windy at times, definately caused problems at times, Matt, Chris and Carl were the only ones to birdie the par 5, it played over par, I had the best 9 with a 25 4 under par on the back, enough said here are the results

we had 18 people again, after the croud let me munipulate the outcome of the vote for doubles, and allowing me to pick my partner( my wife it's our anniversary number 7) which I know giving up the chance to get me as a partner was not an easy thing to do, again thanks all for the rigging of the event on my behalf, the ace pot is up to 162.00, kyle and scotty won the c.t.p. mini's, almost perfect conditions with little wind, the park was crouded with groups of players not like any other tuesday yet, and thanks to those people for allowing us to play through group after group,Jeff Burns came back from Stili where he took second in the masters division to play one more week with us before moving on east for more events,see you at the worlds jeff, so here are the results

here are the results for july 14th, we had a wonderful day of weather with some gusts late in the round, we had 18 peolple again, we voted singles once again by a narrow margine, the ace pot is up to 179.00 and counting, we had two more new people for tuesday totaling 36 now, Braden shot 11 over for 7 holes with alot of 3 putts, was firing it out there about 175, so here are some results

the third week went quick, shorter holes, vote was tied a flip decided doubles, there is now 194.00 bones in the ace pot, if I get an ace next tuesday at the worlds it should count right, wind was a factor most of the night, so here are the results

Actually there is no winner, Shaun and Micah tied at 45. I shot a 52, and Brian shot a 54, the other 11 participants were on the wrong side of par. I have the cards for you Terry when you get back so you can add handicaps... also there were some very close ace runs, but no one took it home, so it is riding around $208... Thats approximatly One Hundred and Four 40oz. bottles of Old English! Hope you are representing Oregon well Terry!

we voted singles , we had 17 people, we had four new people, that's 49 in all, not as good as last year so far, good weekly average though, also last year we had a couple of big weeks of 28, and 32 people, but also a few of ten or less, this year has been more steady with the same croud, the ace pot is at 13.00, the weather was outstanding once again, had some good scores out there, course played long and tough as well, not alot of birds, alot of pars and bogs, but never the less the scores were good, so here they are

I'm mean some good playing by people with higher handicaps,Hillary,Jeni,Josh, great shooting out there folks, we had 13 people and played singles, no ace so the pot is $31.00 I believe, we gave away three ctp's, Shaun won a safety kit and a glow mini, Mark won a safety kit, thanks for the kits Mic, the club donated the mini, a little hot out there, thanks for all the course compliments, it's nice to here week after week, it's amazing I keep coming up with course after course that doesn't really repeat, each week seems to have a different look and flow, thanks again because that's the funnest thing I get to do each week,Glad that Bryan got full employment but he will be missed on Tuesdays,one newbie in Erin, well enough of my rambling, here are the results

well folks that was a real pleasent afternoon. rain came just as I was cleaning up. thanks Shaun for the use of the basket. Hillary made some chocolate goodies for each group in seperate baggies. that was very sweeeet of her.:laughing: well it looks like Jeni earned player of the month. that's a bonus award of 5 points. big points this time of year. we had three jr's plus Leeland's two girls played a couple holes at the end. we had 18 people. we voted singles. a little windy at times. next weeks course will be only 15 holes. should be a little tougher as well. well that's enough for now. here are the results.

we had 14 people and we had to flip to decide the match, doubles won
we got done with a little time to spare, the ace pot is at 52.00 bones
we played par 47 on a 15 hole course, again nothing but praises on the course, thanks guys, well down to three weeks to go , we will push 15 holes again next week, so here are the results

Well the first week is in the books. We had great weather for what the forcast was. Didn't rain one little bit. We had 8 people show up. We all played in the same group. It's fun that way. That's the cool thing about so few people is that you get to see the whole battle. We voted random doubles. The gig went like this.
Jesse and Mike shot a 46 for a -11
Carl and Mark shot a 50 for a -7
Jerimiah and kyle shot a 52 for a -5 , only team without a 4 , Kyle shot a 100 plus footer through some trees for the only eagle on the day.
Terry and John shot a 54 for a -3
The ace pot is up to $5.00 ( Carl owes $1.00 )
Terry,Jeni,John and Jerimiah are paid into both funds.
So the trophy fund is up to $41.00
And the cash payout fund is up to $40.00
Carl said count him in on both funds.
Mike and Kyle from Evergreen said they hoped to make for the whole series as well.
Carl,Mike and Kyle can't get off till right at 5.00 so we will be starting just as soon as the 5.00 o'clockers get to the park. If you are going to arrive late. You can still play. I will figure out something to include you. Add you to a cali, a team with a junior. Let you make up the holes at the end if playing singles. I realize not everybody can be there right at five. It's just assures we get a full 18 holes in.
Forgot to do the C.T.P. not sure who had the closest drive all day. So will do it next time. Going to be making a Tuesday scorecard. It will have 18 spots to advertise on. Selling 1 per hole. They will be $20.00 to sponser a hole for the year. That will get you on the weekly scorecard. A sign for the year for the course. And mentioned wherever possible. The first 12 will go to the trophy fund and the last 6 will go to the cash fund. Also be doing a fundraiser tournament before the year is out. Till next time.

Well another week down. We had 9 people and we voted triples. Forgot the C.T.P. so next week we will have 2. Mark is bringing one. We got lucky with no rain again. A bit windy at times and a little chilly at the end. The front nine was all tied up and the back nine told the story. Jesse H. paid into both pots. We were very lucky with the weather again. Windy at times. Cold a bit. A little sprinkle at the end. But no rain. We has 6 people and we voted doubles.

Wow what an interesting week. We had 10 people and we voted doubles. The weather cooled down which was great. The wind and the air pressure that came with it was crazy. Very unpredictable. We played in one group. Had a great time for almost 7 holes. My wife's upshot went over the fence. Rob being a gentlemen stepped up to the fence and asked the kid in the yard to retrieve the disc. Just so happens there is a little gap between adjacent fences. Out of no where the neighbering dog ( a constant distraction on this hole ) sticks his head through the fence and bites Rob on his nutsack and splits it wide open. His shorts are ripped and he's bleeding. We get the attention of the owner and she says it's not her problem. We try to reason with the bitch and she tells us to fuck off. Wow ! We have never had a problem with anybody on the park boundries. Most people that have been around a long time thank us from turning a bum park into something nice for people to enjoy. So we had to call for medical help which brought the firetruck, ambulance, and our favorite local fuzz. Hide the beers and stash the goods if your holding out. We got interviewed by the fuzz and watched Rob get rolled away to the hospital. The fuzz said she would fix the fence before letting the dog out again and post beware of dog signs. Chris your Cali now. Let's play some golf.
Then my grandaughter decided she's had enough. Which had never happened before. The wife then cut out too. Mike your Cali now. The ace pot is up to $42.00 and the trophy fund is up to $112.00. Here are some results.

Hard to believe another year down. Thank you everyone for joining me and the wife on our weekly round. It's really fun making up courses and having people enjoy them on a weekly basis. Can't wait till next year. Only had two aces all year. Even with all the ace runs at the end of the year trying to give the money away. Really happy about the Jr. turnout this year. That really puts things over the top. Having a hand in getting young people out and playing is super. Teaching them and seeing them improve is priceless. Untill little kids want to be like our heroes it will never become a main sport. Seeing how much it grown over the last 25 years is amazing. Enough said of that.
