FYI - Lowell informed me that there is a new course opening on Whidbey Island today at Fort Nugent park.

Can someone who has all the details please post them here? I'll create a new sub-forum for it.
Should it go in "Olympic Peninsula/West Sound" or "Northwest Washington"?

It should be in NW Washington. Oak Harbor is the town that it's in.

I agree, it goes with the Arlington and Bellingham NW section, not the Olympics.

Yeah, I know where it is on the map, but it's halfway in between those two areas from a geographical perspective. I needed a local perspective to find out where Whidbey Island gets lumped in culturally.
I've moved the new forum (http://www.nwdiscgolfnews.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=141) to the NW WA section.

I live here on Whidbey Island in Coupeville south of Oak Harbor 10 miles. Culturally, I believe its the NW Region. I network with discers from Belly, Sedro, Anacortes, and Arlington. I am also planning to get a club started very soon and would appreciate any ideas about the best way to approach this.
thanks,
