So, I thought this was going to open at 6PM today on Titledisc?

Either way, I signed up early I guess.

Snail mail coming to you! I am looking forward to this mountain series. Brings me back to my first tournament year and playing an oregon series in Tumalo on Ryan Lane's property. That was so much fun even though I was so new to tournament play and breaking up with my ex on the way home haha.

Will the baskets be up before and/or after the tournament at all?

Hi all,

I'm in need of a ride to the Summer Sling. I could pitch in gas$ and cook some good meals during the trip. I live in Beaverton, OR. Can anybody help. I was thinking of going to the Weekly Doubles at Pier Park and asking around ( I haven't been able to go before now due to night classes).

The course will get set up in the days leading up to the event.
Seeing how there are NO summer operations at Hoo Doo, I doubt the courses will remain after the event.
Initial course design was to be started yesterday by Ryan Lane & Coury Coates.
There is a Work Party planned for this weekend, just in case ANYONE wanted to show up and get an idea of what you are in for. :whistler:

The Rebels will be there all day Saturday, camping out over night and continuing on Sunday.

Camping will be just off the Parking Areas...similar to Lava Launch at Mt Bachelor.

Is there a schedule that tells us which divisions are in which pool? Trying to figure out whether we should bring the kids...

Course Maps are available here (http://www.oregondiscgolf.com/course_maps/Hoodoo_2009.html), courtesy of Adam Schneider. Subject to change. Pick up your more correct map at check-in. Distances are measured as a straight line point a to b, this is not typically the intended flight pattern...

Another annoying question - Will folks need to purchase an extra lift ticket to play the courses on Friday?

NO - Lift tickets for players are covered for ALL 3 days.

Not sure IF there will even be tickets...There are no summer operations at HooDoo. They are running the lifts for this event only.:yay::yay::yay:

Is nobody stoked about the great times about to be had this weekend?! A dear friend of mine was wondering why this is "the least talked about tournament...ever."

Some people don't much care for mountain golf. I love mountain golf... it just doesn't like me much. :)

In any case, I'm still stoked. I should be there around 3pm tomorrow. Gotta try out those courses!

Many, many thanks to Ryan Lane, Gretchen Boelens and all of the Rebels who helped put on such a great tourney.

Congrats to Dion for the win and to Coury Coates for securing the OR State Rep USDGC spot!

no question about this tourney being tons-o-fun. great mountain courses and an alpine course that played TOUGH. weather was nothing short of brutal sunday morning. mad snow wind rain sleet ice in the morning made for some seriously bizarre conditions for the first day of summer....
congrats to dion and kirk and everyone else who played well...
and to ryan lane, you're a kick ass td AND dj!
