View Full Version : Will there be a 2009 Lunchtime League?

If there is no plan to hold a lunchtime league this season and anybody out there knows how to get it going, or who to contact, or just in general what need to be done to get it going, I would be glade to help.

My guess is you'll get a response from Treelove as soon as he gets back from the GNO.
I sure hope the league continues this year!

I didn't see this thread until just now. I talked to Gawain (Treelove) at the GNO and asked about LL. He is for sure doing it and will start in June.

Registration filled in less than an hour and a half. I hear there may be one mail in spot available. The wait list is already at 87. Maybe with a few ghost groups you can still get in Wes. :)

I just need to call Albert again and make sure he confirmed the availability, but it is virtual lock that we are go for 2009. 14 Mondays this year in June, July & August - it's a bonus week year! 6:00 check-in at the student center. Site: www.lunchtime.us

Damn, you just HAD to bring that up didn't you! I had almost recovered from my disappointment, and you had to reopen the wound...

I've been trying to fill that void with a series on Hulu based on one of my favorite books Wizard's First Rule by Terry Goodkind. They have 20 episodes so far but I've burned through those...:pirate:

My buddy and i were just saying the same thing! Lets get it goin! Wednesdays 6ish doesn't conflict with any other established league events does it? Leverich and orchard are both a pain to get to at 6 during the week unless you live in the couve or hillsboro. Southeasterners need an easy to get to league day!

Monday is Lunchtime League & now Leverich Dubs
Tuesday is Orchard Dubs & now Timber Tuesdays
Wednesday is Pier Park Dubs
Thursday is Dabney Dubs
Saturday is Suchocki Singles at Milo

But wouldn't 'Southeasterners' need a park close by to have a league that is easy to get to?:pirate:
