I have never seen soooo many people coming out to play!

Round one 64 people :shocked:...
Round two 62 people + about another 30-40 casual golfers and some were very casual...I saw one group throwing a football to each other as they walked down the fairway. Thank you for everyone that came out and enjoyed the day at Dabney.

Last night we had 56 people show up to play :cheers:.

No Aces hit...BUT one very close. I should know my partner almost did it. Joe Aramillo on hole 9 threw a beautiful skip Gator to the hole...it skips up in the chains...dances in the chains and spits out the other side. Man it was close. :pullhair:

So next week the Ace will start at $56 dollars

Skins $ is already at $182 bones :drool:. Not bad for the first week.

If you didn't make it out last night you missed a beautiful night in the upper 70's. There was 60 players that showed up to play. No aces last night the Ace pot stands at $60.

So last night was another outstanding evening :rockon:.
I would have to say last night was one of my most enjoyable evenings...it wasn't because of my score...it was because it felt like it was the reunion tourney. People from the past just showing up for a round...AWESOME!

We did have another great showing with 60 players showing up to play a slow round. I knew the basket changes were going to slow us up, but almost an extra hour:jumpspin:. We were pushing the 9pm time frame which is when the course closes. Even with the harder positions I believe one of the better rounds of the year was posted..-13 Camo and Carl Thorne :trophy:.

Thank you Charlie Tellessen for your CTP...another awesome plate :bowing:. Congrats to Dare Sunnes for winning the CTP on hole #2 :yay:.

Sorry for the delay on getting the scores to Stu...busy, busy, busy. :slapface:

This Thursday...shall I say it :whistler:...no I don't want to :mad:... ummmm :rolleyes2:... THIS IS THE LAST TOURNEY OF THE YEAR :shocked: :pullhair: before playoffs and the finals :trophy:. I know it went quick this year can't explain it. I still remember the BIG turnout on 4/21 and now it's 8/11 so sad.

I just want to say THANK YOU :cheers: to all that have come out to enjoy a round of Dabney Doubles. There were almost 200 different people to show up and play at least one round of the Dubz :shocked:...AWESOME!

Isn't that kind of an unusual way to express match play scores? Usually they are expressed as "X and Y", where:

X = number of holes the winner won by, and
Y = number of remaining holes that did not need to be played. (If Y = 0, then the final score is just expressed as 1 up or 2 up)

Actually, it is explained better at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Match_play

Examples: I am up 6 (I have outscored you on 6 holes) and there only 5 holes to play, therefore I win "6 and 5" (there is no need to play the remaining holes, because even if you win them all, I still beat you.)

So the technically correct way to express the scores would be:

Williams def. Linaman 3 and 2
Saulter def. Gillespie 4 and 3
Skellenger def. breece 9 and 8

Last night was a great night to watch some discs fly in the air and carry a lot of money :drool: around. The play in both groups was...ummmm...outstanding!!! I have sooo many highlights I can't put them down...wish you could have been there kinda thing.

Some teams had the right mojo last night at the right time. Thank you top 12 for making last night one of the better skins I had the honor to watch. :cool2:
