Hi Everyone, I'm new to this site but not to Disc Golf. When I'm not playing around on the small course I made on my property, I program video games. Today I finished Disc Golf 3D for the iPhone/iPad/iPod. I'd love for you all to check it out on the iTunes/Mac App Store.

Took me a while to figure that out. Once I did - money!

The real problem with the app is stability.

Played a complete round and it crashed once.
Now I can't get past hole 3. As soon as I hole out it crashes. Every time.

actually a really cool app. i gotta get an itunes card so i can get the full game. but the 9 holes are fun. and i really love the fact we get to pick from different disc. very very well done good sir:trophy::chug::yay::rockon::cheers::bowing:

It don't work on the 4 but it does on the 4S only let's my play intel the 3rd hole of the 2nd course ... Great game can't wait intel all the bugs are worked out

Pretty cool to start with. Some constructive critic: Projected flight pattern never seems to be even close to what actually happens. Very difficult to line up putts and approach. Miss alot of 5 footers even though everything lines up and hit dead on the meterbar.I guess for some of us that is a reality. The meter size and angle is always different. Couldnt it be a pop up that has a universal size on the screen. Very busy on an Iphone. And why does the dude have a pony tail? Is it mocking me because im losing my hair? All in all what a cool thing to be able to do for us discgolfers. Thankyou.

Are you able to play the second course without it crashing?

Personal best is -17 on the first course (white tees, A positions). :rockon:

Nice scores! I unfortunately lost my best round data but I think it's somewhere around -20 for each. 1.03 is in the works, should provide some nice putt stability improvements along with other features. Fortunately 1.02 is up and fixes course 2 for some devices.

1.02 is not bad. Still getting stuck in trees and putts under the basket are impossible!

Within 5 feet should be a gimmie which would fix that problem.

Course 3 would be nice!

Love the game think its the best Dg game on the market!

Hum, any way to reproduce it, a specific tree or area? I set it so that after touching a tree the disc can never go slower than 1ft/s, so I'm not sure how it's getting stuck.

Gimmies would be huge. Maybe a "tap-in" button that you could press that basically, holes out for you (still adding a stroke, of course).

Another piece of feedback. The game is good, but it feels like it was orginally a ball golf game that was converted. Draw & fade are golf terms - how about Hyzer and Anhyzer instead? I think discs are even referred to as clubs.

I may switch hyzer/anhyzer but I wanted it to be easier for golfers and non disc golfers (so 99% of the public) to understand. I though I got all the club references out, did you find one (or more) and if so where?

Right before the round starts, on the disc selection page. It says clubs: 9/9.

You should also relocate the unplayable lie button. I mistakenly hit it when changing loft. After you hit it no going back.

great game, best disc golf one ive played. can't wait for the tap-in option as that was my only complaint as well, getting stuck under the basket. looking forward to the new courses too.

Wow amazing score, I love seeing my customers smoke my scores even after I played countless rounds and know the ins-outs of the whole game. I may have to see how close I can get to that this afternoon now...!

fun game! i don't understand where I can try to put in the promo code...I have not seen anyone post the second mac code and I have a mac. any help with that would be great!!! I can't really afford to buy it but the code intrigues me, i downloaded the free version and would love to play the real deal..very interesting.

only critique: i wish there was a button that would bring you up to where the disc lands rather than have to go through 6 or 7 views to get back to the original just to get a better idea where the disc is going. otherwise, very realistic flight, distances, discs, etc. cool idea cool game...oh, maybe need to work on the mom jeans the character is wearing :)

I go over the the hill between the trees. From the deepest tee pad. I shoot the first shot backwards to that tee pad in am rounds then over the hill for a four most times.

Great game! I have the course record at 39 on course 1. I've shot a 39 8 times and I have several aces. Only if I could do both in the same round....38 here I come!

Several updates later I'm ready to add a new course for 1.08 (1.07 has been approved by Apple and will be released any time now), so I figure I'd ask for some suggestions. Rather than copy a real course I'm going to design a custom course, so any suggestions are welcome. How would you like it to compare to the last courses? Harder/easier, longer/shorter, higher/lower par, more/less tree density, more/less dogleg and curves, more/less elevation change, ect. I'll start work on this early next week so the more info the better!
